Fire alarm maintenance per NEN 2654

Maintenance of your BMI and OAI is legally required (Bbl — Dutch Building Decree, formerly Bouwbesluit 2012). We prepare a suitable maintenance proposal based on your installation and building use.

We deliver periodic maintenance of your fire alarm and voice/evacuation alarm systems per NEN 2654-1 (BMI) and NEN 2654-2 (OAI). Every maintenance engagement is tailored: we first review your existing installation, building use and maintenance history before preparing a proposal.

What clients ask us first

  1. 01Is maintenance required?
    01 / 03

Yes. The Bbl (formerly Bouwbesluit 2012) requires fire protection systems to be properly maintained. NEN 2654 provides the implementation for BMI and OAI.

  2. 02How often must maintenance occur?
    02 / 03

NEN 2654 prescribes monthly checks (by the building manager) and periodic maintenance by a specialist. The exact frequency depends on your installation.

  3. 03What does maintenance cost?
    03 / 03

We don't work with fixed packages. We prepare a tailored proposal based on your installation and building use.
