Programme of Requirements for fire alarm systems
A professional PoR per NEN 2535 — the blueprint for your BMI/OAI, required for the building permit and the inspection.
The Programme of Requirements (PoR) defines what your fire alarm system must do, based on the building's use, risks and statutory requirements. The PoR is the foundation for engineering, installation and certification.
What we do
- 01Inventory of building uses, fire compartments and risks
- 02Defining the detection principle and supervisory scope
- 03Specifying delivery documents and control outputs
- 04Alignment with client, fire brigade and inspection body
- 05Delivery of PoR per NEN 2535 — ready for engineering
What is at stake?
An incomplete or incorrect PoR may lead to remarks or rejection by the inspection body, delayed delivery and additional cost.
What clients ask us first
01Is a PoR legally required?
01 / 02For every fire alarm system subject to inspection, a PoR per NEN 2535 is required. Without a PoR the installation cannot be approved.
02Who drafts the PoR?
02 / 02The PoR is drafted by a qualified engineering specialist together with the building owner, the competent authority (fire brigade) and, where applicable, the insurer.
